Colin Froud

Colin Froud is a specialist drone training instructor, qualified thermographer and CAA approved drone pilot.

Before joining iRed®, Colin worked in many hazardous environments as a documentary cameraman, editor and director – including projects for both the BBC and Discovery Channel. Using this experience, Colin has created one of the few specialist CAA Operating Safety Cases in the UK, enabling iRed® to teach drone training students how to operate within congested areas, at extended altitudes and beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS).
