With over 40 years combined experience with remote piloting and commercial flying, incorporating the use of UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems – Drones) into our operations was an obvious development for the team here at iRed.
Since early 2012, we’ve been testing and developing aerial technologies in order to produce a comprehensive and efficient inspection solution that not only complements our existing remote sensing capabilities but would also allow us to perform surveys from new perspectives. By using a mix of still, multi-spectral and thermal Imaging, we can provide in-depth data for a wide range of applications such as maintenance, inspection or mapping. This data can then be used for:
- Accurately locating faulty cells in Photovoltaic panels
- Detecting and visualizing moisture density, nitrogen, chlorophyll and NDVI in agricultural areas
- Producing full scale-able, georeferenced 3D models
- Inspecting otherwise inaccessible areas
