Introducing the Workswell Wiris 2 Thermal Imaging System, now available from the iRed Online Shop.
The Workswell Wiris 2 is an industry-leading thermal imaging system that provides real-time control during flight. This infrared system combines a thermal imaging camera, visual camera and a processor unit that can record radiometric data along with a digital HDMI output. This innovative all-in-one system has been specifically designed for commercial aerial platforms (drones) such as the DJI Matrice 600, DJI S900 and DJI S1000+.
This aerial thermal imaging camera is available in either 336 x 256 (Wiris 336) or 640 x 512 (Wiris 640) resolutions, with a wide range of objective lenses available. The Workswell Wiris 2 is the second generation version of the Workswell Wiris Infrared Camera, which was launched at the end of 2016. The Wiris 2 is one of the most state-of-the-art aerial thermal imaging systems currently available on the market, featuring an extended temperature range (up to 1,500ºC using a high temperature filter), a fast 10Hz GPS with jack connector and four openings for easy gimbal installation. Seven digital PWM inputs are also available, with the eighth used for the SBus connection.
UPDATE: The WIRIS 2 is now available with a CAN bus upgrade allowing direct integration with Lightbridge 2 and the Ronin gimbal, making the DJI M600 the perfect UAV platform for the camera.
Using the Workswell Wiris 2, Operators can remotely save fully radiometric imagery (single pictures and videos), change temperature scale settings, modify measurement parameters (emissivity and reflected apparent temperature) and set temperature alarms.
