iRed will speak on the benefits of drone training at this year’s Commercial UAV Show.

iRed have been invited to speak on both days of the 2019 Commercial UAV Show, which takes place on 12-13 November at ExCel London.

A major feature of the 2019 Commercial UAV Show, the Expo Talks will see experts discuss specific issues and developments in the UAV industry. This year, iRed has been awarded two speaking slots, where Ray Faulkner, Managing Director of iRed, and Steve Welland, iRed’s Training Manager, will present on Drone Education and Training.

On Day One of the talks, Ray and Steve will discuss Permissions vs. Competency throughout Drone Education as part of the Market and Policy Updates stream. The stream focuses on the latest developments within the industry, such as new regulations and economic trends. This presentation will highlight the benefits of drone pilots proving that their training has enabled them to fly both safely and capably within their chosen field, before being able to operate commercially.

Day Two of the Show will see iRed present within the Mapping and Surveying stream. As part of this, Ray and Steve will discuss Upgrading Your Drone Skills, including how further education can see drone operators advance their skills and experience beyond the training needed to gain a PfCO.
