The DJI Tello EDU is a fully-programmable drone designed to get students learning programming languages such as Scratch, Python and Swift.

Supporting block-based programming, students can drag coding blocks on to the screen to program automated flights and drone swarms.

No, the Tello EDU is not waterproof.

Absolutely! The Tello EDU is safe to fly indoors – it can also fly outdoors, however this is only recommended in windless conditions.

You can control up to four units simultaneously when using the Swift Playgrounds app for swarm flying.

The Tello EDU drone is controlled via the free Tello App (available on both Android and iOS devices). The Tello App also supports Bluetooth remote controllers.

No, all photos and videos are saved directly to your device via the Tello App.

You can individually charge Tello batteries via the Micro USB port on the aircraft, or by using a battery charging hub which allows users to charge up to three batteries in sequence.

The DJI Tello EDU supports all of the same functions and features as the standard Tello, however it also benefits from an upgraded SDK 2.0, Mission Pads, and swarm flying.

The Tello EDU currently supports Scratch programming and Swift Playgrounds.

The maximum flight range for the Tello is approximately 100m, however this range may vary according to your environment.
