Who are Coverdrone?
Coverdrone is a comprehensive aviation insurance product for the commercial and recreational drone industry, providing industry-leading insurance in the UK, EU, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Unlike most insurance policies which are annual, Coverdrone provides commercial and recreational pilots with flexible policy periods ranging from 1 day to 1 year, and everything in between.
Along with providing a dedicated advisor to all customers, Coverdrone offers a range of bespoke protection plans, including full cover whilst in-flight, aviation liability, data protection and invasion of privacy, plus many other additional features.

Now partnered with Coverdrone, this means new pilots won’t need to buy drone insurance for flight assessments during training. Those new to industry can simply claim their complimentary insurance on the Coverdrone website, which will quickly cover them for any imminent flight tests. This insurance not only covers them for public liability, but also protects their equipment.

Drone insurance is highly recommended for all students attending the new GVC Course, where students must complete a mandatory flight assessment to gain their qualification.
