iRed are the subject of a case study focusing on its headquarters in Emsworth

iRed are featured in a new scheme by Havant Borough Council. The project focuses on the continuing development of the Borough of Havant, including opportunities for driving further regeneration.

Named ‘Have with Havant’, the scheme has a dedicated website to share information on the regeneration efforts. As well as this, the website also contains general facts and figures about the local community. These include details for investors, businesses, and residents.

Also available on the website are a number of case studies focusing on local businesses, which highlight the opportunities throughout the borough. The case studies feature a variety of companies based throughout the borough, to highlight how the area meets lots of different requirements. As such, each of the different case studies emphasises the importance of location within their business.

iRed in ‘Have with Havant’

iRed was founded in 2002, and initially established in Havant. Now, the company provides industry-leading drone and thermal imaging training, surveys, and solutions from their headquarters within the Old Flour Mill, Emsworth.

The case study focuses on iRed and how being located in Emsworth provides different opportunities. These include the multiple transport networks surrounding the area. As well as this, the Old Flour Mill is close to both Emsworth’s town centre and its scenic coastline.

As part of the case study, iRed’s Managing Director Ray Faulkner stated: “Emsworth is a fantastic location for doing local, national and international business. It is easy to get to and around, Emsworth with all of its excellent transport networks.”

Furthermore, Emsworth is close to a number of towns and cities which provide further opportunities. For example, iRed works closely with institutions such as the nearby University of Portsmouth, promoting collaboration between education and industry.

Ultimately, having headquarters in Emsworth holds a lot of benefits for iRed in terms of connectivity and opportunities. The local area is easy to access for both employees and customers alike, making it an ideal location.
